I'm hoping it's for a new IP. As a HUGE GOW fan I felt Stig Asmussen didn't have a real feel for the story and characters of GoW even though he's been on board since the original God of War. The nuance of handling advancement through the different set pieces to tie into the story along with dialog/narration felt like a all time low in GoW3. Kratos as a character felt written off as just out to seek revenge without going into his guilt or consciousness until the very end of the...

From the set of weapons that the medic has to choose from it's a great set. Silenced AR, great smg, LMG, Magnum and silenced Machine pistol. Plus like Tretton said with the medibot following him around the medic doesn't need the ISA rifle.

If you ever played with good tacticians in KZ2 (like me) you'll sorely miss the grenades. To tell the truth the only reason the spawn nades got ruined was once they got rid of the spawn invincibility when you spawned from them. Either way no use complaining since they aren't going to change them back I just hope they add more spawn beacons in the maps. It should at least be one near each side of the map along with others in neutral positions of the map.

Which characters do you consider to be terrible choices for inclusion?

This. Is. Awesome. Bubbles for you.

This almost happened to me the other day and you know what I did? Went to my internet settings and clicked disabled and played the game in peace without need to download firmware.

The greatest game I ever played was Deus Ex: The conspiracy. I'd love to hear you try and simplify that game.

I got to say. In comparison to the first Uncharted Among Thieves is a bit over rated. The story is standard Hollywood cliche material, theres many of scripted events and the characters doesn't feel quite as compelling in comparison to Drakes Fortune. However as far as gameplay is concerned it definitely deserves the acclaim it gets but as the "complete package". I think UC2 falls a bit short of that moniker but I wouldn't call the franchise over rated since the firsts game ...

It's a bit too late for me to do that. My first ride was a 04 Roadster and while it handled like a dream on straights it gets toasted. I tried upgrading it but I said "f*** this car" and brought a Alpha Romero 08 competizione and I'm busting ass in races left and right.

I know this is blasphemous but I didn't like Half-Life 2 too much. I'm just hoping Human Revolution will live up to the Deus Ex name.

Story purposes. The whole buildup has been for the bleeding effects to finally sync up with Desmond and you run around the city in 2012 trying to stop modern Templars. That and the interactions with Lucy and the guy from the Abstergo.

But other games have done that before such as Deus Ex, Fallout 3, God of War 1&2 etc. I'm sure there's been other games with great transition from player control to cutscenes as well. Is that really the only thing that makes you think cinematic quality?

This question has been raised in my mind now for a while. What makes you say "the cinematic quality of Uncharted 2"? For me the games story and narrative was very much akin to a summer blockbuster but other than that I got no cinematic feeling. When I played through Drakes Fortune it felt like playing a movie but it was it's own thing. It had homages to adventure films but in my opinion it was the only cinema quality that I've witnessed.

Replayability doesn't hinge on a game having multiplayer in my view. I think all a game needs is to capture your attention and delight your pallet with what it brings to the table. Then there's other methods like harder difficulties, game collectibles, challenge rooms, alternative choices, continuing to play with your stats maxed out and much more. I just think that now a days it's easier to say "if I don't like the single player that much maybe I can get some enjoyment o...

Innovation will be where the indie and downloadable titles are. We'll see more refinement in the big budget titles and those will be less likely to take risks. I think the smaller and medium sized games will be more adventurous in what directions and visions they will shoot for.

I LOVED Two thrones. It was a fantastic game at the time though I haven't played it in about 4 years or so. The Dark Prince is still one of my favorite video game characters of all time.

Sessler hit it right on the head. Ever since the worldwide economy went rocky 3 years or so ago all the entertainment mediums has gone with releasing safe products. It's been no secret that right after the dotcom bubble bust that the entertainment realm seemed to swell and balloon (amongst other things during that expansion period). I think what we've seen in the last few years has been just the effects of us a people becoming a little over zealous but I digress. Anywho I think it'...

Female lead? I hope they stick with my girl Elena. I loved her as a character ever since she punched Drake in Uncharted 1.

It's not that 88 is a bad score, that isn't it at all. For me and a lot of others we feel that Uncharted: Drakes Fortune never got the acclaim it was due back in 2007. Sure it's nice that Among Thieves finally got that acknowledgement but it's still a shame how overlooked Uncharted 1 was.
